It is the second time Envato has been recognised by the annual Pause Awards.
The award recognises businesses that have done well for the community and the world through their commercial practice.
“We’re pleased to be recognised as one of Australia’s leading businesses who are committed to having a positive impact on the world around us,” said CEO Hichame Assi.
“As a certified B Corp, we’ve publicly committed to managing our business to the highest standards of accountability and sustainability, operating for purpose and not just profit.”
“The B-Good Award is a nice reminder we’re delivering on that commitment, and we hope to harness this positive energy to ensure we continue to do the right thing by our global creative community.”
The Pause Awards, held as part of the annual Pause Fest conference, highlights businesses and individuals that are building impactful futures in various industries.
Envato was one of eight winners in the B-Good category this year and had previously won the Unexpected Twist award in 2018.
The judges were impressed with Envato’s commitment to creative industries, noting that “long term creatives will benefit greatly from the service that Envato provides.”
Since becoming B Corp certified and reaching $1 billion USD in payout to its creative community in 2020, Envato has continued to share its profits with the creative community, while being a force for good through the work of the Envato Foundation.
